We are a community that celebrates life in all its fullness. We believe that God is the author of life, and we are called to embrace and share this gift with others

We trace our spiritual heritage to Abraham, the father of faith. Like Abraham, we are called to trust God's promises, live by faith, and bless all nations

Eternal Life is our living now
At HGTI, we don't just talk about eternal life as a future hope; we experience it now. We believe that eternal life is a present reality, and we live in the fullness of God's love, joy, and peace

We don't fear death, because we know that in Christ, we have eternal life. When our physical bodies rest, our spirits continue to live on, safe in God's presence

The word is God
At HGTI, we believe that the Word of God is the foundation of our faith. We trust in the authority, infallibility, and power of the Scriptures, which reveal God's character, love, and redemption plan

The Word of God is a person
We believe that the Word of God is not just a book, but a Person - Jesus Christ. He is the living Word, the embodiment of God's love, grace, and truth

Jesus is the Son of God and He is the answer (The Way, The Truth and The Life)
At HGTI, we declare that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Messiah, and the Savior of the world. He is the Way to salvation, the Truth that sets us free, and the Life that gives us purpose and meaning

We believe in God the Father as the God Head
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We worship God the Father as the Creator, Sustainer, and Lover of our souls, who desires a personal relationship with each of us

We believe in the return of Jesus.
At HGTI, we eagerly await the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the establishment of God's eternal kingdom

We believe that every human being is created in the image of God, possessing inherent dignity, worth, and potential. We affirm the value and uniqueness of each individual, and seek to honor God's image in ourselves and others

Worship is the focal point in the life of the Ecclesia
Worship is the heartbeat of HGTI, the expression of our love, adoration, and gratitude to God. We believe that worship is a lifestyle, a continuous response to God's presence, grace, and glory
Message from Lead Pastor
Building The Believer
From the experience of Romans 10:9-10,13, by His grace, God has already done everything to provide salvation. Your part is simply to believe and receive.
Hence, we cannot scare an unrenewed mind into loving and obeying the Lord.
This idea that the Believer should be threatened before he will do what is expected of him is not the wisdom of God. It is man’s wisdom. And man’s wisdom, although may seem to generate outward results, it is incapable of producing men who are truly and genuinely in love with the Lord, living in delightsome obedience to his instructions.
I have learned not to attempt to be wiser than God, and that God’s wisdom, although mocked by men already used to their own carnal methods, will always get a lasting result: the kind of result that pleases the Lord.
I have learned to acknowledge that the Spirit of God is in that man who has believed the Gospel. That Spirit in Him will always nudge him to do the right things. I must trust in the ability of that Spirit. God is at work in that man to will and to do His good pleasure. I don’t need to scare or threaten him with hell. Inside Him, is a river of goodness. Inside Him is the ability to walk in the way, and conduct himself in a manner that is pleasing the Lord.
My job is to keep telling him what the scriptures say about him. I must keep affirming who He is because He has believed. I didn’t make him that way, hence I must not lightly esteem who He is because of his wrong conduct.
I must keep showing him what he can do because of who He now is. I must make him know that living right isn’t a struggle for him. It is innate. He’s got it in Him.
When he acts beside himself, in a way contrary to who he is, I must correct him with the word. In my correction, I must keep myself reminded that I am to correct what he does, not who he is.
If I keep doing this, training him in this word of life, his conduct will catch up with his nature. He will start acting like himself. He won’t do it in hypocrisy. It won’t be to impress anybody. He’ll just be acting according to who He is.
This is God’s wisdom for raising men who are walking right.
And it always works.
It may be slow, but it is sure.

About our Pastor
Meet our senior pastors, Apostle Peter and Pastor Mary Oghogho! Apostle Peter L. Oghogho, known as the Apostle of Life, has been divinely called to prophetic ministry. He serves as God’s chosen vessel for the outpouring of the Spirit of Christ to two billion souls in these last days. This outpouring brings the Spirit of Immortality, making death impossible. With a mandate from God, Apostle Peter is dedicated to spreading the message of eternal life and the impossibility of death.
